A short demo of Matsuoka Sensei showing a series of hand movements used to evade and clear two attackers. Ikazuchi Dojo practices this as a randori training exercise, limiting the nage’s options to disallow throws. This brings the focus entirely on positioning to ensure nage doesn’t turn their back on either attacker or move to a location that cuts off movement options (like getting stuck in a corner).
In these three short segments you can see Matsuoka Sensei demonstrating hand movements in isolation, then executed with two attackers at medium speed, and finally full speed.
This video is beautifully filmed and was shot with a professional cameraman. We hope to gradually move more of our content to this level of visual quality in the future.
